The Toyota Venza is a familiar name in North America since 2008, on the eve of Detroit Auto Show; this car got its launch.

From then, it is one of the most reputed five doors mid-sized SUV. Its production was banned in 2015 for some undisclosed reasons, but rumors are there about its re-launching as 2017 Toyota Venza.

The concept of Venza emerged in 2005, and it took three whole years to hit the roads. The latest model is definitely going to have a facelift, better performance, and refreshed looks.

There will be three trim levels for the upcoming car, and they are LE, the base model. Limited and XLE models are on the higher ends. This LE model will not be available as an All- Wheel Drive; other two will be.

Toyota has always been appreciated for its designs and luxury, so there is no doubt that 2017 Toyota Venza will not have attractive and refreshed looks. In its front, bumpers got a new concept along with aggressive chrome made grilles.

Xenon lights have replaced the traditional ones with more visibility. On either of the sides, little chromium is seen with compound curves. On the back, redesigned taillights and bumpers are going to be the rear facelift.


Under metal sheet lies a real piece of modern engineering, it is spacious, cozy and very comfortable. Seats are powered with automatic adjustment system.

Second are third-row seats foldable, which create enough cargo space. Towing area is huge like a minivan. Dashboard and steering wheel are made of soft materials, and finishing is not up to the mark. One more thing is not up to the mark, and that is the sitting area at the back.

The 2017 Toyota Venza has been designed more spacious in its middle and front. Parking sensors and blind spot detection are latest add-ons in this segment. Updated navigation system and premium quality infotainment system will be seen as well. Venza features a single trim level with engine options; one is 3.5-liter 2GR-FE V6 engine. It can generate 268 hp and 246 lb-ft of torque.

While the other variant is 2.7 four cylinder engine, which has got the potential of 182 hp and 182 lb-ft of torque. Both options are paired with six-speed automatic transmission.

Front Wheel and All Wheel options are also available. Fuel economy is likely to be 21 mpg (city) and 29 mpg (highways).

Officials of Toyota have not declared anything specific about launching schedule and cost of the car. Speculations are there about 2017 Toyota Venza’s release by the end of this year.

The price for the base model is likely to be $29,700. Its affordability surely doesn’t exempt it from the rivals like Nissan Murano, Kia Sorento, Subaru Outback and Hyundai Santa Fe Sport.
